TCESC is now conducting both Ohio BCII and FBI WebChecks. Individuals
may call 330-505-2800 to schedule an appointment. Please note that
appointments are required.
The cost is: $30 for Ohio BCII and $30 for FBI -- $60 for both. These
fees are payable by money order only. You may bring one money order for
the entire cost. Individuals must bring a valid Ohio Driver's license to
have a check done.
In an attempt to meet the needs of Trumbull County educators, TCESC has
implemented the following timetable for conducting BCII/FBI WebChecks.
February 1, 2008 to May 1, 2008 Individuals with a license
expiring June 30, 2008. Individuals should have their background checks
done in this time period even if they have not completed the coursework
required for renewal.
May 2, 2008 to September 5, 2008 Eight-year certificate
holders, permanent certificate holders and non-licensed school employees
TCESC will continue to do substitutes, bus drivers, new hires and other
individuals with needs on a daily basis. This timetable is flexible and
TCESC will adjust as needed to accommodate individuals.

specified in this law are current as of this email.
All Individuals Employed Under a License
Individuals holding a license will have a BCII & FBI as a requirement
to renew the license. TCESC recommends that individuals with licenses
expiring on June 30, 2008, should have their checks done before May 2008.
All Individuals Employed Under an Eight-Year Certificate
Complete Ohio BCII & FBI by September 5, 2008.
These individuals will be transitioning to licenses and will then follow
the license renewal process.
All Individuals Employed Under a Permanent Certificate
Complete Ohio BCII & FBI by September 5, 2008,and every 5 years thereafter.
Non-Licensed School Employees
Complete Ohio BCII & FBI by September 5, 2008, and every 5 years
thereafter.
